Would really recommend this place, good food and really amazing service - everyone we met was absolutely excellent! All staff speak good English so no language barrier at all. Menus are also in English as well as Portuguese. Had the veggie pizza which was really nice but it's the staff that definitely carry this place and are the reason for the 5* review!!

Only criticism is some of the monkfish still had the skin on and it’s inedible so needs peeling off. Daughter had the arribiata and garlic bread, it was really tasty and spicy.. great place defo recommend..- Serviço

More Indian than Italian & Portuguese (not the food though). The pasta and pizza was delicious! Staff was very friendly and funny, joking around all the time. Great atmosphere!

We had a great experience at O colonial. We were served by Parry who was great very knowledgeable, experienced ,helped us choose the food. I would highly recommend. Thank you Parry!!

Food was beautiful, nachos to start then had pasta, pizza,skewers and spaghetti. All were beautiful. Chicken and beef skewer was the best one I’ve ever had. Mojito was really good as was sangria! Would recommend, will be back to try the Indian next door!
Lovely night, food and service. Spaghetti Bolognese Piri Piri chicken Mixes kebab Portuguese Steak All spot on.

Really nice restaurant!! Had amazing service from Parry who was accommodating of all our needs. The food was really nice, we both had fillet steak on stone which was lovely!

Been 3 times beginning middle and end of our holidays the 4 of us have all had the steak and chicken skewers with chips and salad or just chicken skewers with chips and salad also then the lasagne and stroganoff and grilled chicken with amazing mushroom sauce with chips all absolutely amazing worth every penny and at the end of our meal before we were leaving we were given a free drink on the house very wide selection,port brandy baileys the list goes on well when we return next year that's our no1 stop and they also run the resteraunt across from this one very pleasant service especially mam she was always giving us her welcome smile and checking everything was top class which was Thankyou for such amazing service 10/10 stars from the two couples from Scotland uk- Comida

Just had the tastiest beef and chicken skewer EVER! I would recommend if you're visiting the area, you won't regret it!! Nice staff, not too pricey and we'll worth it!!
Came here for the Fillet steak cooked on a hot stone…..which you do yourself. Brilliant! Such a great place to eat, plenty of choice on the menu with meat, fish, vegetarian, pasta, pizza etc. Relaxed & friendly, nothing too much trouble.

We have been around various places on the Marina to eat. Upon getting a taxi home one night we were passed a leaflet. We decided to give them a go the following night. I am so glad we did!! From start to finish the service was excellent. Quick, friendly and professional. When our food arrived it looked amazing and well presented. We tucked in and it was clear and evidently freshly cooked as it was so hot. I had the carbonara and my wife had the spaghetti Bolognaise with a side of garlic bread each. Both were full of flavour, good portions and so delicious! My wife dropped a bit of sauce down her white top, our waiter went above and beyond by getting a spray to clear the stain and it worked! Overall, I’d highly recommend this restaurant. It may be a little out the way, but the prices and quality of food and service is definitely worth it! We are returning before we leave go home!Still sitting at the table waiting for our 4 year old to finish her meal. We've been here three times already and every single time enjoyed every drink and meal. We can highly recommend the fish, burger, kids meals and stroganoff. The white house wine is also lovely. Will come again
